I am currently serving as the manager/updater for Wolf Park’s web site, including the maintenance of mailing lists and site and blog updates.  I also manage Barnhill Chimney’s web site, including its Facebook page and SEO.

I have used many programs, and things I don’t know I learn very quickly.  I can use most software, install most hardware, and teach others how to use it too.

Software used includes:

  • MS Office 2000, 2003, 2007, 2010: Publisher, Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Adobe Creative Suite (various versions): InDesign, Acrobat, Photoshop, Premiere Elements, LiveCycle Designer
  • QuickBooks Pro
  • ServiceCEO scheduling software
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Thunderbird, Microsoft Outlook/Express + Calendaring
  • Constant Contact, SurveyMonkey, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and other SEO/marketing applications
  • CoffeeCup HTML Editor, DirectFTP, WordPress, and some CSS and JavaScript in HTML editing and site design
  • A huge variety of smaller applications, including WordPerfect, QuickTime Pro, Dragon NaturallySpeaking, Windows Networking, and proprietary web interfaces

I have purchased, maintained, troubleshot and upgraded computers (PC) and equipment:

  • motherboards, CPUs, heatsinks/fans, memory, power supplies, expansion cards
  • hard drives, CD/DVD drives, flash drives/card readers
  • monitors, scanners, printers, digital cameras
  • modems (from dialup to cable), switches, routers, hubs
  • servers, including internet connection sharing and data backup

Additionally:

  • Maintained business LAN and shared satellite Internet connection
  • Created and maintained several web sites, including online gift shops
  • Cleaned and restored “hacked” web sites
  • Used Mac (OS X, older versions) and Linux (Red Hat)
  • Provided on-call technical support for multiple users
